Did you once fall in love with an Argentinean on a backpacking trip over the Great Wall of China?  When you went to Grandma’s house for the summer, who was that sweet little girl on the next farm over?  Remember Manny; you were interns together that first summer out of college?  Do you wish you were closer to your cousins on your mother’s side? How many times this year have you thought about _____?  

When is the last time you wrote a letter?

Indulge in a delicious dose of personhood with some snail-mail therapy. Letter Lounge is a moment to revel in your glorious past, tunnel out of your work-fiefdom and to love-up someone far from your twitter feed but close to your heart.

We will start with story time! I will read you an inspiring and thought provoking letter out loud to get started, followed perhaps by a brief memory exercise, your pencil will be burning the paper before you know it.

There will be two letter-readings and two verbal memory exercises to fit your schedule first at 12:35 pm then at 1:05 pm.

Inside Letter Lounge, we will be trying our best to break our creative bindings for a little while so do your part by:
-       Entering and exiting Letter Lounge softly
-       Refrain from use of or perfectly conceal all evidence of Your Phone.

Participation Costs: Letter Lounge will be free, except for international letters, which cost $1.10/stamp. International letter writers will pay for their stamps.
